  5. ways to sleep during pregnancy

Asked: 2018-11-08 07:15:39

Before I got pregnant I could sleep like the dead. I mean, head hit the pillow and it was lights out for at least six hours. Now, I toss and turn all freaking night. I’ve never had insomnia and I feel like im dying. How can I improve my sleep while pregnant?

Just try and wear yourself out and find a comfortable position. Sleep will come eventually.

The best thing you can do is try sleeping on your side. This can help, but it’s really just a matter of time.

I had to start sleeping in a chair during the last trimester. Sitting up was the only thing that made me comfortable!

Sleeping during pregnancy can suck. It’s safest to sleep on your left side, and setting up a regular bedtime routine can help. Its also a good idea to purchase a body pillow that you can use to support your legs and hips. This will alleviate pain and make you more comfortable.
